New Barcelona president Joan Laporta has new plans to fund a deal for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

AS says Laporta has placed Haaland top of his shopping list, despite inheriting a club with major financial problems.

And he has a plan to finance this colossal transfer. Indeed, Barca are said to have plans to issue bank bonds, already known as Laporta bonds, which would allow them to have the liquidity to recruit Haaland this summer.

It must be said that the new president feels the best way for Barca to get clear of their debts is by having success on the pitch - which would include signing Haaland this summer.
