Steve Clarke's team drew against Austria on Thursday, and had to settle for another draw against Israel.
Dor Peretz scored a long range strike right before half time to give Israel the lead at home.
But Scotland battled back and got an equaliser through Ryan Fraser in the 56th minute.
The Tartan Army are in third position in Group F after the result, and take on Faroe Islands on Wednesday.
