New Barcelona president Joan Laporta will name Mateu Alemany as sporting director.
Squeezed out of Valencia last year, Alemany had joined Laporta's ticket ahead of Sunday's triumphant election.
TMW says Alemany will become the club's new sporting director.
Also in Laporta's plans is Jordi Cruyff, who is a target to join the management team. The former Barca striker is currently coach of FC Shenzen in China.
Cruyff had been mentioned by both Laporta and rival Victor Font as part of their respective campaign tickets.
