Everton are eyeing Rubin Kazan winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Soccer reports the 20-year-old is set to reject a move to Zenit because he wants to try his hand in a 'top championship'.
And Everton are regarded as favourites in Russia to sign the winger this summer.
However, they do also admit the Georgia international could struggle to gain a UK work permit.
Kvaratskhelia does have three goals from eight appearances for his country, including one against Spain back in March, which would benefit any appeal.
