Wolves chairman Jeff Shi is still considering how to replace departing manager Nuno.
Former Benfica boss Bruno Lage – who, like Nuno, is part of Portuguese agent Jorge Mendes' stable – was interviewed for the role earlier this week although he is not the only candidate, with an appointment not expected until next week or even the following one, says the Daily Mail.
It remains extremely likely that the next coach will be a Mendes client, given Wolves' close ties with his Gestifute agency.
There is also a feeling at Molineux that the whole manager market should be examined closely, and not only those who have strong links to Gestifute.
