Villarreal fullback Alberto Moreno has declared former Liverpool teammate Philippe Coutinho as the best he's played with.
Moreno admits he's been surprised by Coutinho's struggles with Barcelona.
He said, “Yes, I'm surprised, when he arrived at Barça I thought he would be another Ronaldinho and that playing alongside (Lionel) Messi could be incredible. I do not know what happened.
“It is difficult to play for Barça and you have to have a lot of personality to play alongside the best in the world.
"I still think that of all the players I have played with, Coutinho is easily the best. I've seen him do things that only he was capable of.
"He did incredible things, he said I'm going to put the ball there, or in that corner, and he did it. What he did in training was spectacular, everything he said, he was capable of doing."
