Liverpool have tied down youngster Matteo Ritaccio to a new contract.
The New York-born midfielder has been with the club since 2018, and was first spotted at a US National Team training camp at the age of 13.
The 19-year-old spent most of this season with the Under-23 squad, and will be hoping to make the step up to the first team in the coming years.
Ritaccio is a box to box midfielder who was a part of the Reds' FA Youth Cup winning side in 2019.
He is a dual American and Italian citizen.
