Fiorentina are set to beat Brighton to the signing of Stuttgart striker Nicolas Gonzalez.
The Argentine is the subject of a club record offer from Brighton this week.
However, Sky Deutschland says Fiorentina are now on the brink of signing Gonzalez after Stuttgart accepted a €23m proposal. The Viola will also cough up €4m in bonuses.
An agreement is expected to be settled in the next 48 hours.
For €8.5m, Gonzalez switched from Argentinos Juniors to VfB in 2018.
