Everton are eyeing PSV Eindhoven fullback Denzel Dumfries.
AD says Everton chief Marcel Brands is going back to former club PSV to ask about the availability of the Holland international.
Brands has also spoken with Dumfries' agent, Mino Raiola, to register Everton's interest.
PSV are prepared to sell - at a starting price of €15m.
AC Milan are also in the frame to prise Dumfries away from PSV this summer.
