Wolves are hoping to take a step towards appointing Portuguese manager Bruno Lage as Nuno Espirito Santo's replacement.
The 45-year-old will learn on Wednesday whether he can take over from Nuno at Molineux, per the Express and Star.
Lage does not immediately qualify for a work permit, per the new rules in the UK after Brexit.
But Wolves hope that on appeal, he will be granted a work permit and can become their new coach.
Lage is a client of super agent Jorge Mendes, who also represents Nuno and had a hand in Wolves signing several Portuguese players in the past few seasons.
