Manchester United are watching Danny Ings' situation at Southampton.
Ings has rejected a new four year contract with Southampton this week.
Ings has proven himself a consistent goalscorer in recent years and the Athletic reports United are admirers of the 28-year-old.
The England striker has less than a year to run on his current deal.
Along with United, former club Liverpool have also been linked with Ings.
