Barcelona chiefs are baffled by the tactics of Ilaix Moriba's agents.
Mundo Deportivo says the midfielder's agents have now requested a new meeting to discuss his contract situation.
With his deal having less than a year to run and no agreement in sight over new terms, Ilaix was relegated to the B team for preseason training. The decision was relayed to the player last week and it is only today that his agents have sought a new contract meeting.
This comes after Barca's first contract offer was rejected via email - and with no counter proposal suggested.
Such behaviour has left Barca bemused, particularly as Ilaix is losing precious ground on his rivals as they battle to impress coach Ronald Koeman in preseason training.
The new summit to discuss Ilaix's terms is expected to be held later this week.
