Son of Newcastle legend Robert continuing to train with Burnley
Burnley are continuing to run the rule over winger Thomas Robert, who is the son of Newcastle United hero Laurent Robert.
The 20-year-old has been with the Clarets during their preseason preparations ahead of the 2021-2022 season.
The Sun says Robert could join the club's Under-23 squad if he impresses during the remaining period of his trial.
The attacker excelled for Airdrie in Scotland last season, after he snubbed a four year contract offer from Ligue 1 side Montpellier to make that move.
Young Robert is determined to make the most of his talent and become a first team regular at a Premier League club.
