Roberto D'Aversa is delighted taking charge of Sampdoria.
D'Aversa was named new coach of Samp on Sunday.
"I have just arrived in Genoa, I'm very happy," the coach told Sampdoria's official website.
“I thank the President Ferrero and the Sampdoria world for this great opportunity. I want to greet all Sampdoria fans and send a hug."
D'Aversa has signed a deal to 2023.
