Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar was purposely absent from preseason training as he tries to force a move away from the club.
Aouar turned up to the first day of training on July 1, where he met with new manager Peter Bosz.
But since then none of the first-team squad have seen Aouar at the training ground, according to GFFN.
The Frenchman, under contract until 2023, is disappointed that the club did not retain Memphis Depay, who joined Barcelona on a free transfer.
Arsenal have been long-term admirers of Aouar, but it is believed the Frenchman prefers a move to a Champions League club.
PSG and Juventus have also been linked with the 23-year-old.
