Marseille wish to sign Coutinho on a season-long loan. However, L'Esportiu reports Barca are convinced they can sell the midfielder to a Premier League club in the coming months.
Leicester City, Tottenham, Arsenal and Everton are among suitors from England for the former Liverpool star.
A fee below £40m is now being mentioned for Coutinho, who joined Barca three years ago for over €140m.
