Aston Villa boss Dean Smith wants a serious response from his players as they take on Newcastle United in the Premier League.
Villa were humbled by newly promoted Watford, losing 3-2.
Now they have back-to-back home games, and Smith knows his free spending side must get back on track against Newcastle and then Brentford.
He said: "We are certainly going to need that. We can't perform like we did at Watford in front of our own fans at Villa Park.
"The supporters travelled in their numbers on Saturday and will have been disappointed with that first half performance."
