Everton manager Rafa Benitez wants to bring Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff to the club.
Benitez knows Longstaff from his time with Newcastle, as he handed the central midfielder his debut in December 2018.
Longstaff has still not replicated the form he showed in that second half of the season under Benitez.
According to The Times, the pair could reunite at Goodison Park before the end of the transfer window.
Longstaff, who was once linked to Manchester United, could be available for a modest fee given his lack of progress since 2018/2019.
