
Burnley are closing on a deal for Swansea City fullback Connor Roberts.
The Daily Mail says a product of Swansea's academy, Roberts has 30 caps for his country and has one year left on contract. He is valued at around £5m but Burnley are hoping to strike a lower bargain.
Burnley signed Maxwel Cornet from Lyon for a £12.9million and are looking to add a couple of loans also before Tuesday's 11pm deadline.
Burnley's interest goes back to June after the Wales international enjoyed a stand-out season in the Championship.
He followed that up with impressive displays for Wales in Euro 2020 but was struck down by a groin injury in their last-16 defeat to Denmark.
