Aston Villa have slated a medical for Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey.
The 23-year-old is set to join Aston Villa after they officially announced an agreement with the Werkself.
Only a medical check and minor details need to be completed for the transfer to be rubberstamped. The fee is around €35m.
Bailey himself made no secret of his desire to move recently.
"I want to take on a new challenge," said the winger. His contract in Leverkusen is dated until 2023.
