Burnley have completed a deal to bring Aaron Lennon back to the club.

The veteran winger is back in England after spending a season in Turkey with Kayserispor.

The 34-year-old signed a one year contract with Sean Dyche's side and was immediately on the teamsheet for their Carabao Cup tie against Newcastle United.

Burnley won the game on penalties after a 0-0 draw.

The Clarets said on Twitter of the Lennon signing: "We are delighted to confirm that winger Aaron Lennon has agreed a deal to return to Turf Moor as a Burnley player."
