Premier League pundits were amazed by Aston Villa striker Danny Ings' wonder goal in victory over Newcastle United.
Ings broke the deadlock in Villa's clash with Newcastle when Tyrone Mings flicked on a long throw, and he latched onto the ball with a wonderful bicycle kick.
And Jermain Beckford, who was appearing as a pundit for the BBC, was quick to draw comparisons to Wayne Rooney's stunner for Manchester United against Manchester City.
He said: "What have I just seen?!
"This is a beautiful goal!
"An overhead kick and it's absolutely phenomenal from the long throw. It's unbelievable skill from Danny Ings, he's just been so athletic with it as he launched it into the bottom of the net.
"Under pressure as well? That reminds me of Wayne Rooney's but better and on his home debut!"
Chris Sutton held the same opinion as Beckford.
"That will be the goal of the season," started Robbie Savage before Sutton interrupted him.
"It was a brilliant goal that goal was better than Rooney's: Rooney's was off his shin."
However, Savage didn't agree: " Wayne Rooney scored in the magnitude of the game at Old Trafford against Man City."
