Manchester United great Roy Keane believes Jack Grealish will prove himself an excellent Manchester City addition.
While the pressure will be on the 25-year-old to live up to his billing as England's first £100million player, Keane believes the one-time Ireland underage midfielder has earned the right to play for one of the biggest clubs in the game.
"The potential was always there, but you worried about injuries and off the field stuff," said Keane, reflecting on some of Grealish's discretions away from the field.
"He's matured really well over the last few years and I think it's a great buy for Man City, a huge statement.
"It will be a great move for him working with Pep and he will improve with the players working around him now. There will be more demands on him, but I feel it is the perfect fit for Jack. Especially working with Pep because he is the main man out there.
"This what the great sides have done down the years at Liverpool and Manchester United, signed big players when they were on top.
"City have done that this summer and if they get Harry Kane from Tottenham now, they will be tough to stop."
