Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge says he's ready to return to football.
Sturridge has just celebrated his 32nd birthday and has now reached the 18 month mark without a club, following a brief spell in Turkey with Trabzonspor.
On Wednesday, while away on holiday, Sturridge uploaded three images of himself taking in the sun's rays and looking healthy and well.
Captioning the shots, he wrote: "Year 32. More motivated than I've ever been in my life to be successful. Older, wiser and fit as a fiddle. God is good.
"Thanks everyone for the birthday messages. Means a lot."
