Manchester United star Jesse Lingard explained his new goal celebration after scoring for England against Andorra.

The attacker was on target twice in the 4-0 win over the Three Lions at the weekend in a World Cup Qualifier.

Afterward, Lingard was asked to explain how his celebration for the first goal bore a resemblance to Cristiano Ronaldo's famous "SIU" celebration.

Ronaldo recently completed a transfer to Man United from Juventus.

"Me and Mason [Mount] were thinking about celebrations this week and obviously we mixed my celebration with Cristiano's and I said I'd do it if I scored," Lingard told reporters post-game.

"It's a little welcoming gift for him. He'll settle in very quickly and it will help the team tremendously this season."
