Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was happy with the displays of Ben White and Gabriel in a behind closed doors friendly against Brentford.
The Gunners won the game 4-0 at London Colney, which will give them a boost as they look to revitalise their Premier League campaign after the international break.
Arteta's Arsenal have lost their first three league matches of the season, and sit bottom of the table.
Asked about defenders White and Gabriel featuring against Brentford, Arteta told the club website: "Yeah, really good.
"We don't have any big injuries as well, they have the minutes, we could work on some things, so it was a good idea to play the game."
