Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman says he won't duck responsibility for defeat at Manchester United.

Woodman conceded four goals at Old Trafford on Saturday.

He must now wait to see if Karl Darlow replaces him on Friday night and said on social media: "Tough day at the office yesterday.

"Never been one to avoid responsibility, hold my hands up, wasn't good enough. Life of a goalkeeper.

"Important now to learn and react in the right way."

Woodman's team-mate Joe Willock responded to the post and said: "We are all together brother we lose and win as one."
