Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford scored twice in a friendly on Wednesday.

The England international has not played for United this season after undergoing shoulder surgery in the offseason.

Rashford has been working himself back to full fitness and took major step in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday.

United won the match 3-0, with Rashford scoring as a brace.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hopeful that the 23-year-old could be in contention to face Leicester City on October 16.
