Sacked Watford manager Xisco Munoz has broken his silence after yesterday's dismissal.
Xisco was dumped by the Hornets after defeat to Leeds United.
He posted to social media this morning: "It has been a wonderful journey, and it ended in a way that I had neither expected nor wanted.
"I am grateful and I will remember all the good things I have experienced.
"It's a sad day for me and my family because it marks the end of a period in a club where we have felt at home."
But he added: "I have nothing but gratitude to the club, which gave me the opportunity to start my first adventure in this exciting country."
