Ben Grist has been handed pro terms by Leicester City.

The Grimsby Telegraph reports Leicester are handing former Grimsby youngster Grist his first professional contract.

Grist had reportedly had Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea interested over the summer before putting pen to paper with the Foxes as a first-year scholar and has been rewarded for his performances since with a professional contract.

With a long track record for producing talent from their youth system, Grist will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Harvey Barnes and Hamza Choudhury in the near future.
