Valencia striker Maxi Gomez has declared himself fit for their clash with Real Sociedad.
Maxi has overcome some nagging injuries to train at full throttle this week.
He said, "I'm very happy to be back with the group and to be training with my teammates. I'm really happy, and we're training hard for the game on Sunday, which will be very difficult
"I'm taking things steady. They've given me some good treatment here and I'm looking to rejoin the group. We have to prepare for the game in the best way.
"I'm really looking forward to being able to play a game again, and helping my teammates -which is always fundamental. I'm very happy."
On facing Real Sociedad, the Uruguay international added: "The fixture last year was a beautiful game. We got the win, but it was a very complete performance from everybody. We did a really good job. The goal that I scored was from a cross by Gayà; I just had to get my foot to it and turn it into the net. I hope that we can repeat the win from last year, and get three points that are very important for us.
"It's going to be a very difficult game. They have some great players. We have to prepare in the best way possible, looking only at ourselves."
