SEMPORNA: The Marine Police Force (PPM) foiled an attempt to smuggle out petrol to the Philippines at the Gelam-Gelam waters, Pulau Bum Bum, near here, Thursday evening.
Commanding Officer of the Semporna Marine Police Operations Headquarters, DSP Mohammad Ismail said, during the police patrol at 3.15pm in the area, they came across a pump-boat.
