Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was happy with victory at Tottenham.
United played with five at the back for the 3-0 win.
And ahead of their Champions League clash at Atalanta, Solskjaer said: "The attitude was spot on [against Tottenham].
"The players want to play, nobody is happy when they don't. It is the team before any individual."
On the change of formation for Saturday's victory, he stated: "We have players to play many different systems. We felt to get control of the game we needed to play that system. But the execution is more important than the system. The reaction was more important."
Solskjaer also spoke of the criticism that has come his way this season.
"We know when we get consistency we will get results and performances. We will keep focusing on what we did well. [The schedule] is relentless. It is a chance tomorrow to prove we can go again," he said.
"Criticism can make you doubt yourself or you can stand up for yourself. I enjoy criticism. Keep it coming. It is their job to give their opinion. I am not here to fight with them."
On Atalanta, who United fought back against to win 3-2 two weeks ago, he adds: "Atalanta have a special way of playing. High tempo, aggressive, attack-minded and positive. What they have done is remarkable. A very good club, with very good people."
