Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani says manager Marcelo Bielsa has his full support.

Ten games into the season Leeds sit 17th, three points clear of relegation and the owner believes that once they can retain their place in the league they will be in a position to kick on from next summer.

“When I got Marcelo Bielsa to come I knew it was going to be a challenge," he said.

“But we support him unconditionally and I think that the results have been seen on the pitch. Also for himself, this is the longest in his career as a club. As a club we support him and his ideas unconditionally.

"I invested about £100m in buying and rebuilding Leeds United in the Championship. Now the club is in the Premier League, we have a lot of international players. In the first team seven or eight but not only in the senior team. The value is now probably four times higher.

"People think sometimes I'm crazy to do this investment but it is rational because with the right people and management it can be rational. Give time to flourish the project and we can achieve things."
