Longstaff, 24, is on the fringes at the Toon and Steve Cooper can add players as Forest chiefs think they have a chance of promotion, says The Sun.

The Toffees are considering a January move which means Forest could face competition.
Longstaff's chances of game time are only likely to get slimmer in the new year.
