Arsenal defender William Saliba is happy being pushed for a France call.
For many, Saliba has been the outstanding defender in Ligue 1 this season, where he is on-loan with Olympique Marseille.
He said, "Of course there is always room. You have to stay focused.
"Stay as consistent as possible. I know that we still have to progress, be more constant, have a series of matches. When I heard 'Saliba for France team', the match against Lazio (where he made a big mistake) calmed me down.
"I don't tell myself that I have to be at the World Cup. I hope I'll be there, but you have to stay focused. For the moment, I am in the Espoirs, I have to improve."
