Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admitted some frustration with his players after their 4-0 win at Newcastle.
Guardiola was disappointed with their first-half.
He said, "It's a good result but the first half was one of the poorest we've played this season.
"We were not there. We didn't play in any rhythm we should do and everyone had too many touches, losing balls. The second half was much, much better and closer to who we are. Our objective is to play at the highest level all the time."
On Newcastle wanting a penalty when it was 0-2 and Ederson slid into Ryan Fraser, Guardiola added: "Fraser didn't have the ball, Joao [Cancelo] had the ball. If Fraser had the ball then it was a penalty but Joao had it so no penalty."
