Granada coach Robert Moreno apologised to the press after last night's shock win against Atletico Madrid.

Going into the game, Moreno was curt with the media at his pre-match presser.

With little evident desire to speak, he responded briefly and extremely dryly to several of the questions asked by the journalists present.

After last night's win, Moreno said: "Before you ask me, I want to say that yesterday was not my best day at the press conference due to personal issues.

"I know that you have to try to separate the professional from the personal, but I'm human and I'm wrong. If someone was bothered by my answers, I'm sorry, it wasn't my intention.

"Out of 40 press conferences that we have together, I think it's the first I've had a performance like this and I'm not proud, so apologies to anyone who may have been offended by my way of answering. Yesterday it was a trending topic because of my way of answering, I hope I am today too, but for something else."
