BELURAN: The Search and Rescue operation for a four-year-old boy believed drown at a river off Man Coon Estate, here, will continue today (Monday).
Chief Station of BBP Beluran, PPgB Rastam Keladi said Mohd Ridwan Suprianto Mohd Aidil was reported missing while swimming at the river on Saturday.
“The SAR operation started Saturday afternoon after Beluran Fire and Rescue Department was alerted at 5.15pm.”
A team of rescuers involving Fire and Rescue Department and also villagers carried surface searching around the river within a radius of 1.5km from the scene.
The SAR operation was also assisted by a sniffer dog.
