Kota Kinabalu: A man has died after being stabbed outside an entertainment outlet in Penampang Baru early today while the suspect is being sought according to a report.
The outlet's CCTV recorded the 3am incident, Penampang police chief DSP Mohd Haris Ibrahim reportedly said.
The 29-year-old local man had sustained serious injuries caused by a sharp object and was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
He died at 8.38am of serious bleeding.
Police have identified the suspect and a manhunt is ongoing in the case classified as murder.
