Atalanta director Umberto Marino insists they're yet to hear from Newcastle United about interest in Robin Gosens.
Local press speculation has stated Gosens has agreed personal terms with the Toon.
But Marino says: "I read stories about Newcastle's interest in an Atalanta player every day, it's like watching bingo, who's coming up next time.
"Robin has been out for four months and we miss him as a player and as a person as he is one of the leaders in this squad.
"We hope he returns as soon as possible."
