Manchester United chiefs want Paul Pogba to sign a new contract and stay.

ESPN says United hope that Pogba will be persuaded to stay rather than leave for nothing this summer - depending on who takes charge of the Old Trafford hotseat.

As well as Pogba, Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek have also been asked to show the same patience too by football director John Murtough.

Martial and Van de Beek haven't closed the door on their United careers and will reportedly wait and see who the new manager is.

Pogba is yet to play under caretaker manager Ralf Rangnick, due to a thigh injury sustained on international duty with France in October.
