Burnley boss Sean Dyche hailed their performance for victory at Brighton.
Dyche was delighted with his Clarets' side as they earned a first away win of the season in his 250th Premier League game in charge, overcoming Brighton and Hove Albion 3-0 on Saturday.
Goals from Wout Weghorst, Josh Brownhill and Aaron Lennon capped off a superb performance to mark Dyche's milestone with three points at the AMEX Stadium.
Dyche said: “We scored goals, we created chances and I thought we were excellent. They were three fantastic finishes and I think that has been the difference all season, there hasn't been much wrong with our defensive shape, or the way that we have worked from front to back, not just the back four and the keeper.
“The energy and the performances have been good, but you have to score goals. We looked like a real threat. Wout has come in and done fantastic for us but over players look a threat.
“Maxwel looked a threat and Aaron, who has played in 401 Premier League games, it is fantastic to see him scoring goals and enjoying his football.
“It's tough down there but we've been down there before, it's one result, there's a lot to work on, but there are a lot of positives.
“I'm pleased with the performance, forget about my marker, I think the fans know it has been coming with our performances.
“Performances win matches and that was a terrific performance which we worked really hard for and now we must build on it."
On the team spirit, he continued: “It's really pleasing. I think we've performed well over the last five games since the Arsenal game, there's been a real shift in mentality, we've not been far away, we've never been far away, but we've been very good against some top sides.
“We had a tough run of games on paper, it doesn't sound a lot but if you pull out six-points from that, generally in a normal season you would be happy with that, but obviously we want more points than that.
“The players deserve a lot of credit for sticking at it. They are staying very steadfast and delivering some very good performances and they were excellent."
Dyche on goals for Weghorst, Brownhill added: “I've seen how he's been in training and what he has offered us already, his work-ethic, he is constantly a threat and his willingness to work for the team.
“He is a breath of fresh air, he's a top pro without a shadow of a doubt. He is adapting to the challenge of being a Burnley player and he is a credit to himself so far, with his mentality.
“Aaron is still putting a shift in for the side, he's a great pro, and what a finish.
“I thought that Josh Brownhill was excellent against Liverpool and today. Jack Cork has come in and looks way more like himself, I think he's a very good player, a very experienced player anyway.
“Collo (Nathan Collins) has done well when he's come in, and there were a lot of good performances, Ben Mee as well."
