Kota Kinabalu: A suspected drug-addicted woman was arrested after a dramatic car chase with police that resulted in several damaged vehicles along the Tg Lipat road here following a stolen-car report this morning.
It is understood that the black Toyota Hilux driven by suspect had rammed into several other vehicles including a postman's motorcycle during the pursuit.
Police detained the suspect along with the pickup at the General Market area in the city centre.
The woman was taken to the Kota Kinabalu police station for further investigation, and at press time, the police were still conducting inspections on the Hilux at the scene.
A policeman was injured during the purssuit, said a police officer.
