Paul Pogba was again seen in training at Manchester United's Carrington complex on Tuesday.

United's players were back in training following the winter break as they prepare for Friday's FA Cup tie against Middlesbrough.

Ralf Rangnick kept a watchful eye over proceedings as the players reported back to Carrington, with some noteworthy sights.

Chief among them was Pogba as he nears his return from injury - the midfielder hadn't been expected back for a few more weeks, but he could be back in contention for Friday, says the Manchester Evening News.

The Frenchman wasn't ready to make his comeback for the win against West Ham, but a further two weeks of training and recovery means he is in contention to be back in the team on Friday.

Pogba was looking sharp in the session and must be chomping at the bit to play his first game under the new manager.
