Kota Kinabalu: After over a month of four-digit daily Covid-19 cases, today it's 796, announced spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.
Overall, the number of new infections declined in most districts, said Masidi on Twitter.
"KK 177 (-179), Papar 102 (-3), P’pang 61 (-78), Tuaran 57 (-24), B’fort 45 (+17), Sdkn 39 (+10)," he said.
However, Masidi again cautioned that the sporadic infection rate remained high at 65 percent.
97.86 percent of the new cases were asymptomatic or light infections, he added.
