Tasty Potato and Chicken Cutlet Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 chicken fillets (slice into ½ cm cubes)
- 1 teaspoon grated garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 3 boiled potatoes
- 3 slices bread, preferable white bread (grind in the dry grind blender)
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
- 1 teaspoon heaped cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 ½ cups oil to fry
Method
- Heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon of oil. Once the pan is hot, put in garlic and saute for 20 seconds, then add the diced or cubed chicken pieces.
- Now add ginger paste and ¼ teaspoon salt and pan fry the chicken for 2 minutes until it is cooked. Keep aside to cool.
- Take a bowl and mash 3 boiled potatoes with a masher or grater and keep them aside.
- Now add 3 bread slices that have been grinded into the mashed potatoes.
- Add chopped onions, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, cumin powder, chilli powder, garam masala and ½ teaspoon salt.
- Lastly add the cooked chicken pieces. Mix the mixture evenly with your hands to form a dough.
- Apply a little oil on your palm, take about 2 tablespoons of the dough and give it the shape of a ball and press it down.
- Once all the cutlets are completed, heat a wok and add oil to deep fry the potato and chicken cutlets. Note that only 3 pieces of cutlets should be fried at a time on medium heat.
- Continue frying until the dough finishes. You will get around 10 cutlets. Done!
- Enjoy these cutlets with chilli sauce or with green chutney!
