Manchester City must cough up a fee if they're to bring Julian Alvarez to England.
City manager Pep Guardiola announced this week that the on-loan River Plate striker will do preseason with the English giants.
Local journalist Germán Balcarce reports City must pay a €1.5m break fee to end his spell with River.
Alvarez, who signed for City in January, is currently on a year-long loan with River.
The 22 year-old is viewed as a City prospect by Guardiola for next season.
