PUTATAN: Active involvement by the community and parents is important in rehabilitating the disabled (OKU) group in Sabah, especially through the Government’s Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Programme.
Community Development and People’s Wellbeing Minister Datuk Ir. Shahlemey Yahya said early intervention would reduce the risk of total impairment among the disabled, especially children.
