Aston Villa are making a move for Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthais Ginter.
The Germany international is off contract at the end of the season has announced he will leave Gladbach this summer.
Ginter has been linked with Bayern Munich and Inter Milan, while Sky Deutschland says Villa are also keen.
Villa boss Steven Gerrard is a fan of Ginter and an offer has been made to his minders.
